The Founding Story

 

While working at a well-known VC firm, our founder acquired in-depth insights into performance bonuses by analyzing various compensation plans across different companies. Serving as interim CFO for portfolio companies, he personally encountered the administrative chaos, key-man risk, and the fragility of managing compensation plans through spreadsheets. Conversely, he observed that well-crafted compensation plans aligned with the overall strategy could significantly aid businesses in reaching their objectives. For him, automating this process was an obvious choice, allowing employees to concentrate on what truly mattered in their daily roles rather than fretting over their commissions.

Throughout his years of collaborating with numerous B2B SaaS companies, he recognized that all thriving portfolio companies had established incentive programs. Yet, they were all eager to learn from one another for benchmarking purposes, and none had successfully linked their compensation strategy to the company's overarching strategy and goals.
